Silver Companies leases Quantico Corporate Center in North Stafford

The Silver Companies has
leased office space at Quantico
Corporate Center in North
Stafford to The MITRE Corporation.
MITRE is a not-for-profit
company that provides systems
engineering, research and development
and information technology
support to the government. It
operates federally-funded research
and development centers for the
Department of Defense, the Federal
Aviation Administration and
the Internal Revenue Service. Its
principal offices are in Bedford,
MA, and McLean, VA.
The new location at the Quantico
Corporate Center will enable
MITRE to serve its sponsors at
Marine Corps Base Quantico.
The office is expected to open
by August and the space is designed
to house approximately
60 persons.
MITRE has been named to
FORTUNE Magazine’s “100
Best Companies to Work” list for
the past six years. Washingtonian
magazine also named MITRE a“Great Place to Work” in 2005
and 2007. The organization
employs 6,300 individuals in all
of its sites.
Quantico Corporate Center,
developed by the Silver Companies,
is located along Interstate-95, just 600 yards from the
South Gate of Quantico.
The entire development will
include 1 million square feet of
Class A office space. The space
can be custom-tailored to meet
DOD Minimum Anti-Terrorism
Standards and SCIF Compliance.
